How it all started

As a child animals were always my passion, my bedroom walls had posters of Steve Parish's wildlife photography and my shelves of numerous books filled with lists of Australia's wildlife species, Birds and Reptiles of the world and of course my favorite that i had memorized by 7yrs of age- Dogs of the world. I always wanted to be a veterinarian or park ranger, working with animals or the protection of them in some way.

In high school i attended work experience in a local veterinary clinic, this lead to the me studying animal studies followed by a vet nursing course, this is where my eyes opened to the dangers of irresponsible breeding practices and the many health issues that can impact an animals future in so many ways! I became a wildlife carer as soon as i turned 18 and continue that to this day.
I then moved to Queensland for a few years working in the local post office but my after work activity was taking in dogs that were going to be euthanatized needing a home and my assistance would help in the rehoming which was sometimes really difficult as most were crossed with many breeds and had very active needs and strong personalities.

Fast forward to my late twenties I was inspired by a close friend who bred and showed Boxers for many years and continued with her chosen breed of Miniature Schnauzers. I adored her dogs and with her help and guidance with my first breeding dog, I applied for my prefix and Murkaizen Miniature Schnauzers began.

Il be honest I have big dreams with my own bloodline, we imported our first female with nice champion lineage history from New Zeland in 2020 and soon added a stunning male with very reputable champion lineage to our Schnamily in 2021. We really wanted to get him titled in Australia but our family grew...and GREW. We now have four beautiful children!
The future is bright with a puppy from our stunning parents doing well in the show ring, we are looking forward to entering our own in the near future and doing well also!

Breeding has become my passion and you can really see that in our babies, we often get complimented on their calm loving temperaments and how amazing the puppies are with children at such a young age- their good looks are a bonus!
